About the role
Depending on your location within the continental US, this role may be hybrid or remote. If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, you will work in the office at least 60% of the work week, with the remainder remote. If you live more than 50 miles away, the role is fully remote, though occasional in-office visits may be requested based on business needs.
Travel is expected to be 10% or less.

- Experience in auditing, best practices, and training
- Technical expertise and experience presenting to leadership

Responsibilities
- Perform quality reviews of Underwriter’s quoted activities for accuracy
- Assess adherence to guidelines, authority, processes, and compliance regulations
- Identify trends and recommend or implement solutions through training, best practice documentation, and system updates
- Lead and participate in projects to enhance Underwriting accuracy, efficiency, consistency, and compliance
- Train Underwriters on guidelines and best practices
- Provide reporting to Leadership on Quality Management results
- Assist in the Financial Booking process
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- 6 years of experience in Group Life, LTD, STD, and/or Absence Products
- Experience building and implementing key strategies
- Experience reviewing case pricing to achieve accuracy
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $100,000 – $135,000. Offers consider factors such as education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. This range does not include potential incentive pay or benefits.
