About the role

Peoples Gas System is the fastest-growing natural gas utility in the Southeast, delivering safe, reliable, and innovative energy solutions to customers across Florida. This role supports the systems, technology platforms, and operational processes that power field operations.

Primary duties & responsibilities

- Deliver and support training programs for operational technologies and business systems in both classroom and field environments. - Coach and support employees in the adoption and effective use of business systems and operational processes. - Assist with implementation and continuous improvement of strategic technology initiatives. - Partner with Operations, Training, IT, and business leaders to drive successful adoption of enterprise systems. - Support incident management, issue resolution, and enhancement requests related to operational systems. - Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardization, and user experience. - Coordinate cross-functional communication, reporting, and training efforts. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and operational standards. - Assist with organizational change management activities related to technology deployments and process improvements. - Build relationships across departments to ensure operational needs are effectively supported.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED - Five (5) years of experience supporting business systems, operational technologies, process improvement initiatives, or complex operational environments - Experience training users, supporting technology implementations, or coordinating operational programs - Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills - Ability to work effectively with employees, leaders, vendors, and technical teams

Preferred qualifications

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Communications, Human Resources, or related field - Experience within the utility, energy, construction, or industrial sectors - Experience with asset management, work management, or enterprise business systems - Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA EAM, Asset Manager, Field Service Manager, or similar platforms - Knowledge of project management, business process improvement, and change management principles
