About the role

The Wiltern is seeking an Usher/Ticket Taker. This role ensures safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction before, during, and after events.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, scan tickets, answer questions, assist with seating, and examine tickets.
• Maintain venue safety, cleanliness, and guest comfort.
• Resolve guest complaints and assist with special needs.
• Guide guests to exits and provide emergency assistance.
• Participate in recycling and sustainability initiatives.
• Give directions and ensure guests have a positive experience.
• Perform additional tasks as directed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least 1+ year in a guest service role preferred
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, and occasional sitting, lifting up to 25 lbs.

Benefits

The Wiltern offers a competitive compensation package, including a range of $17.87 to $21.00 per hour, based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
