About the role

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a User Experience (UX) Designer - Expert to join their team. As a User Experience (UX) Designer - Expert, you will be part of the Design and User Experience department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, a passion for innovative design, and a user-centered mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Location: Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate collaborative design sessions including sketching and ideation to generate innovative solutions.
• Lead design reviews and drive strategic decisions to enhance user experience.
• Create comprehensive design solutions considering all aspects of the advisor and client experience.
• Translate established patterns and design systems into high-quality visual and interactive prototypes.
• Support research efforts to understand user needs and incorporate findings into design improvements.

Requirements

• Expertise with foundational UX principles and best practices.
• Experience executing high-fidelity designs and prototypes.
• Proficiency with documentation and project tracking tools such as Confluence and Jira.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to adapt and iterate designs based on feedback and research insights.
