User Experience Researcher
About the role
As a Senior UX Researcher, you will support two product squads by planning and executing qualitative and mixed-methods research, including interviews, usability testing, and survey-based studies. You will partner closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, UX Strategists, and Engineering Leads to uncover user needs, generate actionable insights, and influence product decisions. This role focuses on products supporting nursing education and assessments and requires collaboration with a global UX Research team across multiple regions. The ideal candidate can independently manage multiple research initiatives, communicate findings effectively to stakeholders, and advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle. This role is remote but candidates must sit in the Greater Philadelphia/New Jersey area.
Must-Haves
- 5+ years of professional UX Research experience with a strong focus on qualitative and mixed-methods research
- Experience leading 20–30+ end-to-end research studies, including stakeholder alignment, participant interviews, synthesis, and recommendations
- Strong expertise in survey design and qualitative research methods, with proficiency across 3–4 research methodologies and mastery of at least 2
- Portfolio demonstrating impactful UX research work, clear communication of findings, and influence on product strategy and decision-making
- Proven leadership, mentorship, and collaboration skills, with a stable work history and proactive, self-starter mindset
Plusses
- Master's degree in UX Research, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Design, Strategy, or a related field
- Nursing or other clinical background
- Education technology, learning platforms, publishing, or assessment product experience
- Experience conducting research with healthcare professionals, clinicians, or nursing students
- Experience supporting global products and diverse international user populations
Pay
Compensation ranges from $50–$57/hr.
