About the role

You will implement action plans aligned with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. You will operate and maintain the waste treatment system, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting a safe, efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the waste treatment system, including equipment for filtering, chemical treatment, and disposal.
  • Check system performance regularly, including flow rates, chemical levels, and equipment functionality; report abnormalities to management.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on waste treatment equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of system performance, maintenance activities, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure all waste treatment processes comply with applicable local, state, and federal environmental regulations by implementing required procedures, monitoring system performance, and maintaining documentation for regulatory audits.
  • Obtain and maintain state-required licensing as needed.
  • Lead and participate in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools; determine customer needs and business priorities; coordinate and execute work assignments; provide advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved; and model and help others adapt to change or new challenges.
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; analyze and apply information from multiple sources; monitor progress and results; and identify and address improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by explaining, guiding, and demonstrating how to apply these in executing business processes and practices; implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and assist management with correcting ethical and compliance issues.

  • 1 year's experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.85 - $33.85. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
