The Technician III, Facilities Maintenance, is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs on building systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural components. About the team
The Facilities Maintenance team ensures the upkeep and safety of exterior structures and outdoor areas through preventive maintenance and minor repairs on roofing, sidewalks, signage, and outdoor furniture. They manage snow removal, debris control, and coordinate efforts to maintain clean, functional, and safe environments. Team members collaborate to support facility operations, efficiently manage projects, and uphold company standards. Their work fosters well-maintained, reliable spaces by emphasizing quality and strict adherence to safety protocols, contributing to a welcoming environment for all users.
Responsibilities
- Clean and inspect all aspects of Parking Garages
- Inspect and evaluate roofs
- Maintain and install all exterior signage
- Operate snow removal equipment
- Power wash hard exterior surfaces
- Inspect and clean windows when needed
- Wipe down and inspect exterior furniture
- Leaf and debris removal
- Building and site trash pick up
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Construction experience, concrete repair skills
- Equipment operating knowledge (e.g., forklift, skid steer, scissor lift, excavator, boom lift)
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to enter, edit, and update work order information into a ticketing system
- Able to work in inclement weather, both hot and cold
- Ability to work at heights

Preferred Qualifications: Construction Driver's License.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
