Responsibilities
- Handle preventive maintenance, perform repairs on fitness equipment, and collaborate with your facilities team and across departments.
- Proactively seek opportunities for development by completing all training materials and implementing feedback from leadership coaching.
- Establish and maintain cross-departmental communication to remain up-to-date on repair and replacement needs in customer-facing spaces and facility infrastructure.
- Work within a CMMS to run reports, monitor and complete work orders, and receive service requests for in-house duties and outsourced contractor services.
- Maintain knowledge of commercial HVAC, Electrical, Lighting and Plumbing systems.
- Travel within the market to participate in group training sessions, routine department meetings, and provide support to clubs beyond the home club, as needed.
- Complete administrative tasks promptly, including email management and communication and assist in maintaining inventory counts as needed.
- Utilize Building Management System (BMS)/Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) control systems to review property operations and identify the needs of the facility.
- Oversee the outsourcing process of more complex projects by reviewing pricing and approving work completed by contractors.
Requirements
- A high school graduate or equivalent.
- Seven or more years of experience in a mechanical, electrical, or plumbing trade, as a journeyman, or building engineer (may be supplemented with technical school education).
- Previous experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Understanding of Building Management System (BMS) / Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) control systems.
- Working knowledge of commercial HVAC, Electrical, Lighting and Plumbing systems.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Team-based mentality with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, with regular ability to visit clubs across the assigned district (subject to ADA accommodation).
