About the team
The team addresses complex business and technical challenges within Growth Tech by leveraging advanced agentic development tools. Utilizing AI coding agents throughout planning, design, implementation, testing, and operations, they establish standards for scalable, reliable, and secure production systems. Operating at the intersection of software engineering, data, and AI, the team delivers valuable insights to suppliers and merchants. They develop platforms for intelligent automation, including agent orchestration and customer-facing AI solutions, emphasizing rapid iteration and adaptive systems that learn from usage. Collaboration and continuous improvement drive innovation in this dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems, ensuring alignment with domain priorities and roadmap milestones.
- Oversee shared infrastructure, tooling, and frameworks to support scalable, secure development and seamless system integration.
- Drive full software development lifecycle across teams, championing DevOps practices, CI/CD, and cloud cost optimization.
- Collaborate with product and data teams to design and deliver AI-integrated software serving millions of users.
- Mentor engineers, promote technical quality, and guide architectural decisions for maintainability and performance.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, track metrics, and ensure timely delivery of complex technical initiatives.
- Foster continuous improvement through innovation, automation, and effective project management.
Requirements
- Proven leadership in platform engineering, overseeing software and AI/ML system execution aligned with strategic roadmaps.
- Expertise in software development lifecycle management, including coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance across multiple teams.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps architecture, CI/CD practices, and cloud financial management to optimize cost and reliability.
- Experience guiding architectural reviews and system design for scalable, maintainable, and high-performance platforms.
- Ability to mentor engineers, promote technical excellence, and foster continuous improvement and innovation.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, aligning technical initiatives with business goals and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated technical judgment with sound decision-making and adaptability to evolving technologies and priorities.
Qualifications
- Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
- Option 2: 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
- 2 years’ supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area.

We use a hybrid way of working with primary in office presence coupled with an optimal mix of virtual presence. We use our campuses to collaborate and be together in person, as business needs require and for development and networking opportunities. Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and stock for certain positions.
