Position Summary

Develops tools that support project initiatives, leads large or multiple medium-sized projects, analyzes business efficiencies, provides expert advice, and drives continuous improvements.

What you'll do...

  • Develops tools for project initiatives such as feedback collection and gap identification tools.
  • Identifies and determines information and tool requirements, gathers and analyzes data and information, designs and formats tools, assesses enhancement requirements, implements finalized products, tracks usage and feedback, addresses or escalates issues, and maintains tools and reports.
  • Leads large or multiple medium-sized projects by defining scope and objectives, working with business units to identify goals, success criteria, assumptions, risks, and known issues, coordinating planning activities, developing and implementing resource plans, monitoring budgets and costs, managing changes, and ensuring adherence to established project standards.
  • Analyzes business efficiencies for Walmart Central Operations sustainment and implementation projects using various analytical methodologies, developing creative solutions, reducing costs, meeting business goals, prioritizing assignments, ensuring data accuracy, applying business measures and analyses, identifying improvement opportunities, probing root causes of problems, and identifying possible solutions.
  • Develops and automates tools to support project analytics and communicates project metrics to leadership.
  • Provides expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices, supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs, and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
  • Builds and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs, determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices, monitoring progress and results, recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities, and adapting to competing demands.
  • Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission values and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans, using the Open Door Policy, and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Arts, Sciences, Business, or related field and 2 years’ experience in project management, operations management, or related field.
  • OR 4 years’ experience in project management, operations management, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Developing reporting, database, and/or feedback tools.
  • Leading a cross-functional team.
  • Writing queries, report automation, or related field (for example, SQL queries, Microsoft Excel macro development).

  • The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00 - $126,000.00.
  • Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
