Position Summary

Coordinates the movement of trailers to designated locations with Warehouse Management. Maintains Walmart's trucks and trailers by conducting thorough inspections to ensure optimal mechanical performance, safety standards, and emergency equipment readiness. Operates tractor/trailer units by adhering to all safety requirements, including placing trailers in designated locations.

What you'll do...

  • Maintains proper fuel levels and performs regular trailer inventory checks.
  • Maintains quality by maintaining records, logs and forms, including any forms required by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
  • Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
