Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

• Operates forklifts safely and follows company standards and guidelines.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
• Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases and issues.
• Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, and handling hazardous materials.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or outdated goods, and ensuring proper display of promotional and seasonal merchandise.
• Handles club pick-up orders by picking, staging, and auditing orders for accuracy.
• Manages inventory by tracking goods, maintaining stock levels, controlling shrinkage, and reporting poor inventory practices.
• Operates and maintains forklifts in a safe and correct manner, reporting poor or unsafe conditions to management.
• Proactively identifies and assists customers with technology services, models technology services, and identifies shrink opportunities and problems.
• Maintains and organizes merchandise and supplies, ensuring proper storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Ensures proper stocking and rotation of merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, and setting up and cleaning product displays.
• Processes defective merchandise and monitors for shrinkage risks and safety.
• Works collaboratively with associates, mentors, and develops others, recognizing their contributions and accomplishments.
• Acts with integrity, demonstrating the Walmart values, holding oneself and others accountable, and supporting the company's goal of becoming a regenerative company.

Minimum Qualifications

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Customer Service Experience.
• Retail Experience.
• Supervising a team.
