About the role

The role involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. This includes touring stores, providing feedback, and communicating with all levels of associates regarding store operations.

Responsibilities

  • Tour stores and provide feedback to associates
  • Collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations
  • Utilize technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction to introduce and lead company change efforts
  • Provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model
  • Manage and support customer service initiatives such as Store of the Community and community outreach programs
  • Ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved and develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies
  • Lead and recruit qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential
  • Supervise and develop opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace
  • Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and identifying and communicating goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by implementing related action plans, utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy, and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices
  • Respect the individual, build high-performing teams, embrace differences, and create a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected through a culture of belonging
  • Act with integrity, maintain and promote the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance, and hold oneself and others accountable
  • Serve our customers and members by delivering results while putting the customer first, considering and adapting to how, where, and when customers shop, and applying the EDLP and EDLC business models to all plans
  • Strive for excellence by displaying curiosity and a desire to learn, taking calculated risks, demonstrating courage and resilience, and encouraging learning from mistakes

Qualifications

  • 2 years' of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and may also include regional pay zone (RPZ) and complex structure (based on external factors).
