About the role

The Lead Store Manager is responsible for leading and developing teams, driving financial performance, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Tourstores and provide feedback to associates, teaching training and actively listening to their concerns.
  • Collaborate with all levels of associates to manage store operations, merchandising, and company direction.
  • Implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards, resolving customer needs, complaints, and issues.
  • Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and improve customer experience.
  • Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL statements, managing budgets, and controlling expenses.
  • Supervise and develop hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, fostering a culture of belonging and ethical behavior.
  • Coordinate and oversee job-related activities and assignments, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifying and addressing improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • 2 years' college education; or 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; or 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in a retail environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Ability to lead and develop teams effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of financial management and budgeting.
  • Ability to resolve customer issues and complaints.
  • Experience in customer service and merchandising.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, or Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) and Complex Structure.
