About the role

The Lead Store Manager is responsible for leading and developing teams, driving store performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Tourstores and provides feedback to associates, communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations.
  • Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions.
  • Manages and supports customer service initiatives, resolving customer needs, complaints, and issues, and developing action plans to improve customer experience.
  • Reviews and evaluates PL Profit Loss statements, manages and assists in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses, and developing action plans to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Hires, trains, mentors, assigns duties, sets clear expectations, provides associate recognition, and promotes a belonging mindset in the workplace.
  • Coordinates and oversees job-related activities and assignments, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, and supports the Walmart values and mission.

Requirements

  • 2 years' of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

Skills

Exceptional customer service standards, ability to drive financial performance, strong supervisory and mentoring skills, effective communication, and the ability to lead change.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) and Complex Structure.
