About the role
The Paid Social channel is our primary acquisition tool, and the US market is a cornerstone of Huel's global expansion. We're seeking a Junior Creative Strategist to lead creative strategy in the US.
Responsibilities
- Execute the US creative strategy, develop concepts, hooks, and angles, and build out the weekly roadmap of testing.
- Work across the brief-to-analysis cycle to drive new customer acquisition on paid social.
- Create content yourself, including scripting and filming UGC-style ads, building social assets in Canva, and editing raw footage.
- Own creator outreach end to end in the UK and US, from initial contact to ongoing relationship management.
- Ideate and collaborate with US agency partners, bringing fresh concepts and angles, and supporting the development of briefs.
- Translate the US creative strategy into clear, inspiring briefs for the in-house team.
- Track and analyze creative performance across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, using insights to inform future creative decisions.
- Stay informed about US consumer trends, competitive creative, and platform changes, sharing insights with the team.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in creative, marketing, or content roles, or equivalent experience with strong potential.
- A genuine understanding of creative strategy, including its importance and how it connects audience insights to performance.
- Strong brief writing skills, capable of crafting clear, insightful, and useful briefs for creative teams.
- Good copywriting abilities, with a knack for creating scroll-stopping hooks, punchy scripts, and compelling headlines.
- A solid grasp of current social media trends, platforms, and what works on each, along with an understanding of creative performance metrics like CTR, hook rate, and CPA.
- Organized and adept at managing multiple briefs and markets simultaneously.
- Comfortable creating content, whether through scriptwriting, asset-building in Canva, or shooting/editing short-form videos.
