Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete sales journey, from first contact through to a signed agreement
- Seek out and chase fresh business prospects throughout the Central Valley area
- Report regularly on outreach activity, pipeline status, and overall performance
- Establish and nurture connections with senior buyers and influential stakeholders
- Grow revenue inside existing accounts as openings present themselves
- Put together proposals, pricing, and the supporting paperwork behind each client engagement
- Cook up with operations and other internal departments to enable smooth onboarding and service delivery
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal abilities and a talent for forming professional relationships
- Between three and seven years in business development, outside sales, or a comparable position
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms and reporting functions
- A demonstrated track record of sourcing leads, growing pipeline, and winning new accounts
- Willingness and ability to travel locally within the Central Valley
- Previous work within a B2B setting
- Capable of juggling several active opportunities at varying stages
Preferred
- An established network within the Central Valley business community
- Previous experience partnering across multiple internal functions
- Exposure to service-based, industrial, or operationally driven sectors
- Familiarity with drafting proposals, setting pricing, or negotiating contracts
