Ready to build meaningful client relationships while representing a business that has spent more than a century putting people and the planet first? Do you bring a genuine commitment to world-class customer experience, with the commercial instinct to deepen relationships, uncover opportunity and drive lasting account growth? Are you excited by the opportunity to help some of the country’s best-known natural and organic food brands source genuinely sustainable ingredients?

At DAABON USA, every shipment of organic palm oil carries a promise: zero deforestation, zero peat, zero land grabs and a fair deal for the farming communities behind it. We’re looking for a highly organised, relationship-led Account Manager to protect that promise, strengthen our client partnerships and help grow our North American business. This is not a transactional sales role. It is an opportunity to become a trusted partner to our customers while representing a globally respected, family-owned sustainable agriculture business.

About the role

As Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of US customers and become the trusted commercial partner they rely on. You’ll strengthen existing relationships, unlock new growth opportunities and help expand DAABON’s presence across the natural and organic food market. This is a role for someone who can pair exceptional customer care with sharp commercial judgement, strong organisation and relentless follow-through.

From first conversation to final shipment, you’ll help create a seamless, world-class customer experience. You’ll work closely with the Sales Director, customer service and logistics teams on forecasting, reporting, order planning and delivery, while keeping every detail, commitment and next step moving. You’ll also represent DAABON at trade shows, customer visits and industry events, champion the voice of the customer internally and play a key role in growing the market for sustainable and organic palm oil across the US.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a portfolio of US-based natural and organic food brand customers
  • Strengthen existing client relationships and uncover new commercial opportunities
  • Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring a seamless, world-class customer experience
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, and logistics teams on forecasting, order planning, and delivery
  • Represent DAABON at trade shows, customer visits, and industry events
  • Champion the voice of the customer internally to drive improvements
  • Support the growth of sustainable and organic palm oil in the US market

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial role (sales, account management, or customer success)
  • Proven track record of managing key client relationships
  • Strong commercial instinct and ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
  • Professional communication and CRM proficiency (Microsoft Office)
  • Comfortable working remotely with flexibility for US travel (customer meetings, trade shows, industry events)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (desirable)
  • Experience within the natural, organic, or food industry (desirable)
  • Experience selling food ingredients, commodities, or related products (desirable)
  • Knowledge of sustainable agriculture or responsible sourcing (desirable)
  • Spanish language skills (desirable)

About the company

DAABON is a 100-year-old, family-owned company and one of Colombia’s largest producers of organic and sustainable crops, including palm oil, bananas, cocoa, coffee, avocados, and limes. Based in the Santa Marta region of Colombia—one of the most biodiverse places on earth—we have spent a century working as caretakers of the land and the communities who depend upon it.

  • Respect: Creating an inclusive environment that values individuals, communities, and cultures.
  • Sustainability as a path to prosperity: Supporting long-term environmental, economic, and social wellbeing.
  • Vertical integration with a global vision: Managing the entire production journey responsibly and efficiently, from farm to market.
  • Doing things with passion: Bringing energy, authenticity, and care to everything we do.

Our operations are entirely deforestation-free. We farm only on land cleared long before we arrived, never operate on peatlands, and work closely with local farming communities to create shared, long-term prosperity. In 1999, we launched Las Alianzas, a partnership programme founded on peace, collaboration, and economic opportunity for farming communities. Today, we are RSPO and organic certified, a signatory to the Amsterdam Declaration on Sustainable Palm Oil, and a signatory to The Climate Pledge.

Our purpose is simple: To transform the palm oil industry through business and farming practices that put people and the environment first. DAABON USA imports and supplies natural and certified organic palm oil and related products across North America, working with many of the leading brands in the organic and natural food industry. Our promise, Better Ingredients, Delivering More, reflects our commitment to creating value for the environment, our communities, our customers, and future generations.
