About the Role
Provides assistant surgical services in the operating room and other medical settings under the surgeon's guidance.
Responsibilities
- Assist with surgical procedures, including prepping, closing incisions, and removing drains, tubes, and catheters.
- Support patient care during office visits and post-operative assessments.
- Perform documentation, billing, and administrative paperwork.
- Participate in quality assurance, utilization management, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
- Contribute to operational assessments, budget development, and revenue optimization.
- Assist in patient education and post-operative wound care.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing or Nurse Practitioner Program Certificate.
- Clinical experience and surgical assistant skills.
- Certifications: SC Nurse Practitioner, CPR.
- Experience with patient equipment and surgical procedures.
