Program Highlights
- Dedicated Cancer Practice: Work within an exclusively cancer-focused environment that prioritizes specialized oncology care, clinical trials, and multidisciplinary treatment strategies.
- Collaborative Multidisciplinary Team: Join an established team including three existing fellowship-trained urologic oncologists, a general urologist, and dedicated advanced practice providers.
- State-of-the-Art Facility: Practice out of our dedicated 300,000-square-foot cancer center facility in Jacksonville.
- Integrated Care Model: Comprehensive support combining pathology, radiology, medical and radiation oncology, surgery, psychology, navigation, rehabilitation, and survivorship programs.
- Academic Appointment: Opportunity for an adjunct academic appointment (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor of Surgery) at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education & Training: Doctorate of Medicine (MD) or Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution. Fellowship: Completion of a fellowship sanctioned by the Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO) is strongly preferred. Candidates currently in fellowship are encouraged to apply.
- Licensure & Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Urology (ABU); must possess or obtain an unrestricted Florida Medical License and active DEA registration.
- Clinical Focus & Scholarship: Demonstrated skills to establish and maintain an active cancer-focused clinical practice in urologic oncology with willingness to support general urology needs as required; strong commitment to multidisciplinary patient care and academic scholarship.
