Responsibilities
- Support the growth of our multidisciplinary Genitourinary Oncology Program.
- Demonstrate a commitment to our patient-centered multidisciplinary integrated model of cancer care including participation in quality improvement and research programs.
- Be fellow with a track record in GU or experienced Genitourinary Medical Oncologist.
- Fully support the clinical, scholarly, and research missions of our program including developing standard protocols for patient care, improving quality metrics and scholarly/research activities.
- Display the passion, communication, interpersonal skills and collaboration required to build an active clinical practice and develop areas of productive scholarship.
- Be recommended for an adjunct academic appointment at UTMDACC, commensurate with clinical and scholarly achievements.
- Have, or be eligible for, certification in Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
- Have or be eligible for an unrestricted Florida Medical License & DEA license.
Requirements
- Board-eligible or Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Hematology and Oncology.
- Unrestricted Florida Medical License
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical oncology experience preferred
Skills
- Strong track record in genitourinary oncology
- Demonstrated commitment and solid scholarly record
