About the role

The Section of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center is seeking a Genitourinary (GU) Medical Oncologist.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional clinical care in GU medical oncology
  • Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary care team
  • Participate and lead in clinical trials
  • Collaborate with investigators on a range of research projects
  • Engage in teaching students, residents, and fellows in ambulatory and inpatient settings
  • Opportunities for leadership in medical education

Requirements

  • MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology preferred
  • Licensed or eligible for a medical license in the state of Massachusetts

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical expertise in GU medical oncology
  • Track record of collaboration in a multi-disciplinary care team
  • Experience in teaching students, residents, and fellows
  • Opportunities for leadership in medical education

Skills

  • Excellent clinical skills in GU medical oncology
  • Strong collaborative and leadership abilities
  • Effective teaching and mentoring skills

Pay

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison.
