About the role

The candidate will be a key member of the imaging team responsible for developing shared services and code generators used by all Department of Tax and Finance applications. This includes maintaining and modernizing the e-MPIRE imaging platforms, which process programs generating billions in revenue for local governments and New York State. The system enhances decision-making, productivity, public access, and reduces risks associated with outdated technology.

Requirements

• 84 months of experience supporting government organizations, including business domain knowledge, technical design, application development, maintenance, and end-user support of complete business-related processing systems
• 84 months of experience with UNIX and AIX OS, including Shell Scripting, CRON TAB, and DB2 databases
• 84 months of experience as a Server Administrator, including deployment, administration, and support of hosted applications
• 48 months of experience with Visual Basic, .NET, and/or C# application development and support

Location & Duration

On-site in Albany, New York (12227). Long-term engagement (30 months).
