About the role
The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) and the Division of Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Responsibilities
- Teaching Penn medical students, residents, and clinical fellows
- Outpatient and inpatient clinical care as a general nephrology consultant
- Freestanding VA outpatient hemodialysis unit
- Acute inpatient dialysis unit
- May include specific areas of interest such as home dialysis, glomerular disease, or onco-nephrology
Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Board certified in Nephrology
Qualifications
- Outstanding clinician with demonstrated excellence in patient care and education
- 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching
