University Articulation Officer
About the role
The Office of the Registrar is seeking a University Articulation Officer to support the development, evaluation, maintenance, and communication of articulation agreements, curriculum alignment initiatives, and transfer pathway policies. Reporting to the Associate Registrar for Articulation and Transfer Credit, this position serves as a key liaison among academic departments, community colleges, CSU partners, and Enrollment Management units to ensure transfer pathways are accurate, transparent, and student-centered.
Responsibilities
- Cook up the development, review, and maintenance of articulation agreements and transfer pathways with community colleges and four-year institutions
- Be the subject matter expert on articulation, curriculum alignment, transfer credit, and transfer-related policies, offering consultation and guidance to faculty and campus partners
- Manage articulation and transfer-related systems and records, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and effective reporting
- Collaborate with transfer credit evaluation, advising, admissions, and academic departments to support student success and resolve complex transfer scenarios
- Develop and deliver training, resources, and communications related to articulation processes, transfer initiatives, CSU General Education, Associate Degrees for Transfer (ADT), and statewide transfer policies
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training
- Four (4) years of administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Five (5) years of experience working in higher education
- Three (3) to Four (4) years of experience as an academic advisor, graduation specialist, or other position primarily responsible for interpreting degree requirements
- Familiarity with CSU GE Breadth, IGETC, ADTs, and statewide transfer initiatives
- Experience with TES, ASSIST Next Gen, PeopleSoft, C-ID, or curriculum management systems
Compensation
Classification: Administrative Analyst/Specialist – Exempt II
Anticipated Hiring Range: $7,352/month - $7,499/month (Step 13 – Step 14)
CSU Salary Range: $5,797/month - $8,445/month (Step 1 – Step 20)
