Universal Documentation Specialist
Essential Functions
- Implement Range Commander’s Council Universal (RCC) Documentation System 501 changes into the Range Planning Tool (StarGate Planning Tool (SPT)).
- This may include the creation of new templates to meet requirements.
- Work with department personnel coordinating RPS software issues and system errors.
- Act as database manager, suggesting documents for archival or removal in the SPT.
- Create UDS documents in the SPT module to include prelaunch and launch operational support documentation.
- Work with the StarGate system administrators and programmers to troubleshoot system errors and provide recommendations for software changes, replacements, or upgrades when required.
- Serve as coordinator for CDRL items in the WR Planning and Control Department of Range Operations to include:
- Managing documents and template covers to meet standards for submitting CDRL items to the government.
- Ensuring CDRL documents are submitted according to timelines established in the contract.
- Serve as backup for the Documentation Coordinator.
- Perform as secondary to Sr. Universal Documentation Specialist, which includes:
- Training of new department employees in the Stargate SPT module for UDS documents.
- Including prelaunch and launch operational support documentation.
- Posting CDRLs and data products to intranet portal.
- Interfacing between Contracts and Mission Operations to verify, archive, and update non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
- Cooking, creating, and distributing Documentation Index monthly.
- Coordinating the creation of new programs into intranet portal when required.
- Maintain department folders.
- Assemble, perform quality checks and edit all launch-related UDS Documentation and non-launch-related documentation as required.
- Perform final edits and quality checks of LOIs and Procedures.
- Maintain document version control.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Required Experience
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years experience in documentation, scheduling, or analytical or organizational management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, TEAMS, and Outlook).
- Knowledge of RCC 501-12 Universal Documentation System desired.
- The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific Project or Mission requirements.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
Salary and Other Compensation
The annual starting salary for this position is $45.98 hourly. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
