Universal Banker - Float

Summary

Provide quality, accurate, and timely customer service by processing daily financial transactions and opening accounts in a retail banking environment. Introduce bank products and services through outreach and offer tailored recommendations to deepen client relationships. Perform outbound sales calls to meet banking goals and support management.

Key Duties Include

• Supporting teller and platform functions such as deposits, currency handling, and account openings.
• Identifying client needs via consultative conversations, cross-selling, and making referrals.
• Assisting with loan applications and processing new demand and time deposit accounts.
• Delivering excellent client experiences, resolving inquiries, and enhancing product knowledge.
• Ensuring compliance with banking policies, internal controls, and risk management standards.
• Supporting operational efficiency through daily tasks, training, and staying informed on updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1+ year experience as a Teller preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, 10-key calculator, coin counter, and basic office equipment.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with applicable knowledge and skills.

This role requires passing a background credit check and compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008. Ongoing employment depends on meeting all regulatory requirements.
