Job Duties
- Aid in study design and development of analysis plans
- Participate in regular meetings and present statistical analyses
- Critically review and co-author scientific manuscripts
- Supervise medical students, surgical residents, or others conducting statistical analysis
Preferred Experience
- Master's degree or PhD in mathematics, statistics, or biostatistics
- Minimum of 2 years experience with statistical analysis
- Experience in the healthcare industry preferred
- Computing skills including MS Office
- Knowledge in relevant software packages such as Stata, SAS, or SPSS
- Experience with machine learning models and programming in R or Python highly desired
MUSC Minimum Training and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with statistical courses
- Two years experience in statistics
