About the role

The CT Hospital is seeking an experienced Full-time Cardiac Surgery Advanced Practitioner (PA or NP) to join their 24/7 service. This role includes ICU and step-down coverage, OR responsibilities, and some outpatient office staffing.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in the ICU and step-down units
• Assists in the operating room during cardiac surgeries
• Performs outpatient office procedures as needed
• Collaborates with a team of two cardiac surgeons and five cardiac surgery PAs
• Manages a growing case volume that includes open heart surgery, CABG, valve procedures, minimally invasive surgery, and TAVR

Requirements

• Board-certified PA/NP, preferably RNFA certified
• Experience in CT Surgery or Cardiac ICU
• DEA, ACLS/BLS, CME maintenance
• Strong communication skills
• ANP, FNP or PA
• BC and CT license
• One year of experience required
