The David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Department of Surgery, is seeking a full-time Junior Statistician with a strong foundation in statistics and data science to join the Population-Health Research Core (PHRC) Biostatistical/Epidemiological Core. JOB DUTIES

• Support transformative projects that shape healthcare delivery and policy through advanced statistical analysis and data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to manage and refine complex datasets.
• Design study databases.
• Apply statistical modeling techniques to uncover meaningful patterns and outcomes.
• Develop visual tools—tables, graphs, and dashboards—that communicate findings clearly and effectively.

Pay

Full hourly salary range is $33.96 – $69.54. Please note the department’s target hourly salary range is: $36.40 – $38.31.
