About the role
Your Everyday Ensures a safe environment for patients and others while performing priority technical procedures safely and legally. Transcribes orders and maintains patient charts while fulfilling receptionist and clerical duties. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to improve patient care and ensure orderly unit operation. Demonstrates care and concern for customers, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and seeking assistance when needed. Utilizes effective interpersonal communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes and perceptions of satisfaction. Enters supply rooms on nursing units as required for job functions, refraining from manipulating intravenous fluids. Contributes to continuity of patient care by complying with established hospital and departmental policies. Maintains documentation consistent with established guidelines to support patient care continuity.

Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED or work experience equivalent
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Secretary or Unit Clerk in healthcare setting required
Qualifications
- Preferred Associate's Degree in Nursing, Medical Science or equivalent
Skills
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
