About the role

The Indiana State Personnel Department (INSPD) operates as a shared services model, providing top-notch HR services to the executive branch of state government. This role is part of a dedicated team of human resources professionals, including directors, generalists, and specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately files paperwork into employee master file
  • Performs work related to the INSPD personnel archive process per agency guidelines
  • Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Responds to requests for basic employment verifications

  • Knowledge of clerical procedures used in performing such tasks as arranging and maintaining a file system
