Responsibilities
- Maintains Guest Service Standards
- Manages guest traffic flow from both the guests side and bagging side of the register
- Works with Store Manager and Guests Service Manager to ensure schedule meets desired service levels
- Trains cashiers to call additional hosts as needed
- Handles guests and hosts requests, refunds, overrides, and check approvals promptly and professionally
- Ensures front end is clean, neat, and clutter free
- Monitors and enforces front end policies related to Asset Protection and Shrink Control
- Provides training and direction to hosts not meeting front end standards
- Communicates problem areas and hosts not meeting performance standards to the Guests Service Manager
- Provides constant on-the-job feedback to front end hosts to maintain service level
- Processes guests orders (including performing as a cashier or guests service clerk)
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. occasionally and 15 lbs. constantly
- Ability to read and understand information and direction
- Knowledge of front end operations
- Ability to supervise hosts including training and development
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
- Effective communication and guests service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Demonstrate successful use of math skills
- Ability to work well with computers
