Underwriting Assistant Entering new submissions and updating the Submission register Assisting underwriters in renewal preparationAssisting Underwriters in attaining D&B reports, preparing catastrophe analysisPerform risk analysis by inputting data into risk decisioner in the proper formatPrepare policies and endorsements for underwriter review as well as process the endorsement in Starr Tech software programs such as Sparc and Salesforce.Assist with internal audit process, following up with brokers on needed informationMaintain reports as required by UnderwritersPremium entry and reconciliationPerform all other duties as directed by area management Skills/Experience Required: 1 – 2 years of related Property underwriting assistance experience preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritizeStrong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word Starr is an equal opportunity employer, which means we'll consider all suitably qualified applicants regardless of gender identity or expression, ethnic origin, nationality, religion or beliefs, age, sexual orientation, disability status or any other protected characteristic.
