This is a hybrid role (in office Tuesday–Thursday) at our Madison office.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct initial processing of submissions, renewals, endorsements, and other incoming documents based on established guidelines and authority.
- Prepare, gather, and research underwriting information pre-bind and post-bind; process new and renewal submissions, binders, and policies with a high degree of productivity and quality.
- Input new business submissions and route to underwriting staff as directed.
- Build and maintain positive business relationships with various constituencies, including fellow employees and assigned producers.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process and technology improvements.
Responsibilities
- Review and research external data sources for underwriting.
- Complete pre-bind and post-bind tasks, including preparing initial quotes for underwriter review and issuing new/renewal business and endorsements as instructed.
- Follow up with producers for outstanding underwriting information (e.g., loss runs, completed inspections).
- Input new business submissions, including data entry of customer information and uploading documents to the Policy Administration System (PAS).
- Work collaboratively in a team environment to meet corporate and team goals, enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Assist others to accomplish team workload expectations.
- Build strong working relationships with underwriters and assigned brokers.
- Maintain and develop technical knowledge and expertise aligned with CM Vantage’s business niche.
- Contribute to team feedback, process improvements, efficiency discussions, and conflict resolution.
- Participate in or lead assigned projects as necessary.
Requirements
- Three or more years of experience in insurance servicing or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable industry experience; high school diploma or equivalent required.

- Proficient in standard business software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet browsing), PDF management, and Microsoft Windows.
