Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation Coordinator - UT Chattanooga

Responsibilities

• Assists with planning large scale on and off campus recruitment events and works with off-and-on-campus partners to coordinate a schedule, materials, and oversight of these events.
• Serves as a point of contact for internal and external entities as it pertains to enrollment and recruitment signature events, such as Blue and Gold Preview Days, Power C Tours, Admitted Student Day, and Orientation.
• Oversees the administrative functions of recruitment activities related to Orientation and Undergraduate Admissions events.
• Collaborates with appropriate UTC departments such as Marketing and Communication and Student Success Centers to coordinate marketing materials, material organization, and outreach activities.
• Maintains a clean and organized office space, handles the office staff calendar, oversees the organization and ordering process for event and office materials, and assists with the recruitment, selection, and training of undergraduate and student staff for the Campus Tour Guide and Orientation Leader positions.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Relevant experience working in a related field(s) or at the University level.
• Experience with event coordination and management.
• Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of experience in a related field or at the University level. Experience in undergraduate admissions event planning.
