Uncle Tetsu Baker Assistant

Responsibilities

• Performing Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) duties as directed by the Person in Charge (PIC)
• Performing cleaning and sanitizing tasks to maintain cleanliness and appearance of the store
• Greeting and serving Guests
• Handling payment at the cash register
• Preparing drinks at the Tea Bar
• Preparing ingredients for baking, including portioning, weighing, and storing ingredients
• Packaging cakes into boxes

Requirements

• Reliable and dependable attendance is required
• Education and Experience: Some high school, prefer some Operations experience in Food Safety
• Food Safety: Local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification, acquired at applicant’s own expense

Qualifications

• Uphold a high standard of integrity and ethics in order to comply with all Company Policies
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for Guests and Associates alike
• Work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Standing for long periods of time

Pay

Pay Range: $18.5 per hour - $21.5 per hour Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
