Uncle Tetsu Baker Assistant
The Baker Assistant at Uncle Tetsu is responsible for:
- Providing quality service to Guests
- Supporting the Baker and Person in Charge
- Performing Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) duties as directed
- Maintaining cleanliness and appearance of the store through cleaning and sanitizing tasks
- Greeting and serving Guests
- Handling payment at the cash register
- Preparing drinks at the Tea Bar
- Preparing ingredients for baking, including portioning, weighing, and storing ingredients
- Packaging cakes into boxes

Uncle Tetsu is an international Asian-inspired bakery founded in 1985 by Tetsushi Mizokami. It offers over 80 locations worldwide, known for its signature Japanese Cheesecakes.
Responsibilities
- Essential functions include reliable and dependable attendance, performing FOH and BOH duties, cleaning, greeting, serving, handling payments, preparing drinks, and packaging cakes.
Requirements
Education and experience: Some high school education, prefer some Operations experience in Food Service.
Qualifications
Physical demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for up to four hours, and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, adapt to a dynamic environment, and manage conflicts/difficult situations.
