Ultrasound Supervisor - Temporary
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the clinical and operational performance of the ultrasound department.
- Ensures that clinical processes are coordinated and functioning effectively.
- Maintains compliance with regulatory agencies and CMHS policies and procedures.
- Provides input for the development of policies and procedures, training, and best practices for use within the Ultrasound department.
- Aids in implementing standardization, performance improvement, integration, and optimization strategies.
- Works in close conjunction with the Diagnostic Imaging department leadership team.
- Ensures employee competencies, training, and other departmental projects are completed in a timely manner.
- Responsible for maintaining operational efficiency, customer service, and quality standards.
- Serves as the primary resource for ultrasound related information throughout the organization.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Five (5) years’ experience as an ultrasound technologist.
- Previous ultrasound management/supervisory experience in a hospital setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Current registration through ARDMS.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Five (5) years’ experience as an ultrasound technologist.
- Previous ultrasound management/supervisory experience in a hospital setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Current registration through ARDMS.
