Ultrasound Coord

Summary

Performs diagnostic sonographic procedures. Coordinates all workflow related to imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, housekeeping duties, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary. Assists with scheduling of staff, prioritization of patients, and supply resources for the department. Assists with on call coverage if applicable.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree in Ultrasound; or equivalent technical experience in Ultrasound
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) – required (1 ARDMS certification required; 2 ARDMS certifications preferred)
• Experience: Ultrasound experience required; hospital-related experience preferred

Schedule

• Status: Full Time, Non-exempt
• Shift: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm (Days)
• Weekend Work: Occasional
• On Call: Yes
• Remote Work: Never
