About the Role
Under the general supervision of the Director of Imaging and direct supervision of the Ultrasound Supervisor, the Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures according to physician’s orders. Ensures patient safety and delivers high-quality testing.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or registered school of Radiology Technology.
- Completion of a training program in ultrasonic technology.
- Current registration with A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) preferred.
- Ultrasound Registry (RDMS) preferred.
- Certified by the Texas Department of Health.
- Previous experience in a hospital environment preferred.
