Our organization includes Campbell County Memorial Hospital, a 90-bed acute care community hospital in Gillette; Campbell County Medical Group, featuring nearly 20 specialty and primary care clinics—including locations in Wright and Hulett; and The Legacy Living & Rehabilitation Center, a long-term care facility.

About the role

Works under the supervision of the Radiology Director and the Staff Radiologist. Performs a variety of Diagnostic Ultrasound procedures including abdominal scans, obstetric and gynecological scans, small parts, and vascular scans, utilizing all aspects of diagnostic ultrasound equipment. Operates ultrasonic equipment to produce images of the body's organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Performs sonographic examinations to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data. Records test results, inspects and maintains equipment, and orders supplies when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, small parts, and vascular ultrasound scans
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic ultrasound equipment
  • Produce and interpret images of the body's organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes
  • Record and evaluate sonographic examination results
  • Inspect and maintain ultrasound equipment
  • Order supplies as needed

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited program in Medical Sonography
  • Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and/or certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • State license to practice, if required
  • High school diploma with graduation from a School of Radiology Technology or a Credentialed Ultrasound Imaging Program
  • Certified/licensed by American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT Ultrasound)
  • Registered at time of hire with a national accrediting body in the practice of Diagnostic Ultrasound
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Abdominal, OB/GYN, Small Parts, and Vascular procedures is preferred
