This position performs diagnostic magnetic resonance (MR) procedures and coordinates all workflow related to imaging patient care, radiology Information System (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary. The role also coordinates and adjusts the staffing schedule to meet departmental and regulatory needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic magnetic resonance (MR) procedures
• Coordinate all workflow related to imaging patient care
• Manage radiology Information System (RIS) data
• Oversee file room operations
• Handle general clerical duties
• Provide physician assistance
• Coordinate patient transportation
• Adjust staffing schedule to meet departmental and regulatory needs

Qualifications

• Certifications: ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) specializing in Radiology or MRI; Registry Eligible ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) specializing in Radiology or MRI; or ARMRIT (MRI); and BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Education: Technical training in Radiology or MRI required; Associate's degree in Radiology preferred; equivalent experience accepted (see comments for details)
• Credentials: BLS (Basic Life Support); ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) with relevant specialty or ARMRIT (MRI); Radiology license required (see comments for details)
• Experience: Experience in a radiology facility required

Schedule

• Full-time, non-exempt position
• Shift: Days (Shift 1), Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:00
• Weekend work: None required
• On-call: Yes
• Remote work: Never
