UHNW Operations Consultant (Remote)
About the role
Wealth Enhancement is seeking a UHNW Operations Consultant Lead to join our dynamic team. This senior-level role provides operational leadership, advanced portfolio accounting expertise, and customized performance reporting support for our most complex ultra high net worth (UHNW) client relationships.
Responsibilities
Partner with UHNW Relationship Managers, Financial Advisors, product teams, and operations partners to support bespoke UHNW client needs.
Serve as the primary operational and performance reporting lead for complex UHNW client relationships, including multi-entity households, trusts, partnerships, foundations, closely held assets, alternative investments, and personal accounts.
Deliver high-touch internal support for time-sensitive, client-impacting requests.
Play a central role in designing, executing, and continuously improving tailored reporting solutions for multi-entity households, trusts, partnerships, foundations, closely held assets, alternative investments, and personal accounts.
Oversee setup and maintenance of alternative investments and manually maintained accounts within Orion and related systems.
Convert valuation and transaction data into portfolio accounting system templates.
Support development of repeatable processes for incorporating alternative and illiquid investments into reporting outputs.
Troubleshoot performance discrepancies and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.
Educate advisors on performance calculations, benchmarks, and reporting methodologies.
Play a central role in building and evolving the UHNW operations and reporting function, including defining best practices, workflows, and scalable processes.
Act as a senior liaison between UHNW Relationship Management, Advisors, Investments, Product, Operations, and Technology to translate complex client needs into reporting, data, and workflow solutions.
Provide guidance, training, and subject matter expertise to advisors and internal partners on UHNW reporting capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
Lead cross-functional operational improvement initiatives related to UHNW reporting, alternative investments, data integrity, and service delivery.
Cross-train and provide support across Operations as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial services operations, investment reporting, portfolio accounting, family office operations, private wealth, or UHNW client service.
Minimum of 3 years of direct experience supporting UHNW, family office, institutional, or complex multi-entity client relationships.
Strong experience with portfolio accounting and performance reporting systems (such as Addepar and Orion Advisor Technology).
Deep understanding of portfolio accounting, performance calculation methodologies, benchmark application, cash flow treatment, reconciliation, manual asset valuation, and consolidated reporting across multiple entities.
Demonstrated experience working in environments with incomplete systems or data, with the ability to build processes and solutions from scratch.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Salesforce or CRM experience preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000, exclusive of bonuses and benefits.
