Responsibilities
- Cross-trained and able to perform regular rotations on a variety of equipment throughout the department.
- Performs basic equipment set-up, verifying that correct parts are in the machine, and that all parts are being placed within specified tolerances.
- Maintains metrics for equipment utilization and other documentation.
- Maintains a sense of urgency while being safety minded and using equipment in a safe manner.
- Ensures quality product is produced.
- Works in a team environment.
- Flexible with work schedule and assignment to meet demand and or schedule.
Qualifications/Skills
- Able to read and comprehend instructions.
- Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations including customers and other employees.
- Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Able to stand, walk, talk and hear.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds, and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
- Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, ability to adjust focus.
Education and Licensing
- High School diploma or equivalency.
- Operate Windows & OS2 computers.
- Acquire certification in IPC 610 or equivalent quality standard and demonstrate the ability to perform operations at those standards.
