The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for an Operator I position in the Wastewater Department. The incumbent operates the Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF), lift stations, and performs preventive maintenance on equipment.
Requirements
- High school graduate or G.E.D. required
- Specialized schooling and/or on-the-job education in a specific skill area, plus prior experience preferred
- Must obtain Class "D" Wastewater certification from the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality within one year of employment
- Class "C" certification required within the second year of employment
- Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license and be insurable
Benefits
- Starting Salary: $18.5165/hr. with benefits
