UAT System Analyst

About the role

The UAT Systems Analyst will support the implementation of a comprehensive case management solution within a health and human services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct system analysis and perform UAT validations for new change requests and production incidents, coordinating with vendors and interface partners.
  • Lead design sessions to gather and detail specific application or project requirements, including defining responsibilities, operations, attributes, and process flows.
  • Develop and document functional and process requirements to support system design and build.
  • Automate standard queries using SQL to verify data points and support internal quality control validations.
  • Collaborate with the program admin team to collect and analyze data for federal agencies, supporting demonstrations and documentation.
  • Monitor incident tickets, track resolution progress, and coordinate with tier-II teams to address case issues and suggest corrections for timely processing.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree.
  • 5-7 years of experience in system analysis, UAT, and test case design and execution.
  • Proficiency in SQL and ability to generate reports from backend data repositories.
  • Experience working with integrated eligibility systems and supporting data validation.
  • Strong understanding of health and human services programs and related business processes.
  • Ability to translate policy and business requirements into verifiable data queries.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, develop solutions, and support system design sessions.
  • Experience with business process analysis, gap analysis, and mapping techniques.
  • Familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau is preferred.

Qualifications
