About the role

This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the production area in accordance with USDA, HACCP, and QA pre-op protocols. Duties include using high-pressure hoses, chemical solutions, assembling and disassembling lines and equipment, cleaning floors, ceilings, lighting fixtures, fans, and removing trash. The role requires obtaining LOTO (lockout tagout), fall protection, and PIT (if needed) training.

This position will be exposed to warm or cold temperatures, wet, humid, or dusty conditions. Physical demands include frequent walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all production areas, equipment, lines, machines, floors, ceilings, lighting fixtures, and fans.
• Use high-pressure hoses and chemical solutions for proper cleaning and sanitizing.
• Assemble and disassemble lines and equipment as required.
• Remove trash and maintain a clean work environment.
• Complete all assigned work duties prior to the end of the shift while adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Obtain required training, including LOTO (lockout tagout), fall protection, and PIT (if needed).
• Perform other duties as tasked by administration.

Requirements

• Must observe all Tyson safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job, including walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 70 pounds frequently.
• Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions (warm/cold temperatures, wet, humid, or dusty).
• Must be able to complete required training (LOTO, fall protection, PIT).

Pay

$18.55 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential.
