TYSON FOODS -ALBERTVILLE: 2nd Shift FRY LINE Utility Skilled PR05U

Pay is $18.55 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential.

About the role

This position must be capable of performing all jobs in the First Processing area, including keeping evisceration floors clean, giving breaks, sanitizing knives and gloves, keeping tables and racks clear of birds, and any other duties assigned. The Utility role fills daily staffing needs in the First Processing area and reports to production management at the beginning of each shift for job assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of production and support roles within the assigned department
• Operate machinery, tools, and equipment as required
• Complete Tyson paperwork accurately
• Communicate with plant management, supervisors, and other team members in person and via radio
• Provide relief breaks and cover staffing needs as assigned
• Follow safety, quality, and production standards
• Perform other duties as tasked by administration
• Observe all Tyson policies and procedures

Requirements

• Must have 3 months of Operator experience within the last 12 months (documented in work history or resume)
• Must be able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Rehires are subject to a 181-day wait period from their last date of employment
• Candidates who have worked for Tyson Foods or Tyson affiliates 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire
