TYSON FOODS -ALBERTVILLE: 3rd Shift SANITATION Lead PR08

Pay is $19.55 per hour plus an additional $2.00 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year department lead experience in a poultry processing facility or related industry. Experience may be from a combination of employers if it totals at least one year.
• Rehires are subject to a 181-day wait period from their last date of employment.
• Candidates who have worked for Tyson Foods or Tyson affiliates 3 or more times will not be eligible for rehire.
• Must be able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.
• Must perform other duties as tasked by administration.
• Must be safe and observe all of Tyson’s policies and procedures.
• The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervisor with coordination and execution of daily departmental operations.
• Ensure the supervisor’s instructions are clearly communicated to team members and tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
• Be knowledgeable in all positions within the line and step into any role as needed to support operations and provide coverage for team member breaks.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues, and notify the supervisor of any maintenance needs.
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment while ensuring compliance with all Tyson policies, procedures, and safety standards.
